Hello there

You may be wondering: why the name Formerbee Design? Well, I drew inspiration from three areas: Family, nature, and faith.

My name is formerly Sarah B., so in some ways “Formerbee” is a nod to my family— I’m now Sarah M., in case you were wondering!

In nature, bees are master engineers, problem solvers, and team members— characteristics a lot of us hope to emulate.

Bees also have a connection to my Catholic faith. I find the many mentions of bees and honey in the Bible really intriguing; obviously bees aren’t always the friendliest of creatures, but the sweetness they produce is universally adored.

I hope to represent all these points of inspiration through Formerbee Design… the humor and liveliness of both sides of my family, the reverence of my faith, and through sustainability and care for nature. I hope my work will bring you joy, peace, and puns and I thank you for following on this journey!
